   Hey Mike! Can you please help me getting Gnome 40 in Gentoo? I’m a bit lost

      I did it the hard way, but just the other day gnome-40.0.ebuild was added. So, just do:

      emerge –autounmask =gnome-40.0.ebuild then etc-update

      and you should be on your way. It is taking a bit to get used to, but no major big deal.
