{"id":358,"date":"2020-07-16T13:07:38","date_gmt":"2020-07-16T17:07:38","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.mgreene.org\/?p=358"},"modified":"2020-07-16T13:07:38","modified_gmt":"2020-07-16T17:07:38","slug":"gnome-3-36-and-workspaces-to-dock-overview-issues","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.mgreene.org\/?p=358","title":{"rendered":"Gnome 3.36 and Workspaces to Dock Overview Issues"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p><em>17 July update &#8211; the r2 version is in portage, but still requires this fix.<\/em><\/p>\n<p>Simply, the overview functionality of Workspaces to Dock is broke with gnome-shell 3.36.4, it just does not work.\u00a0 It seems that this time it is a gnome-shell issue which can be corrected by:\u00a0 <a href=\"https:\/\/gitlab.gnome.org\/verdre\/gnome-shell\/-\/commit\/836cb974011a19ea2bba16a04c4b4c1a19aaebc6\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"><strong><em>workspacesView: Revert commits of !1119<\/em><\/strong><\/a>.<\/p>\n<p><code>Execute <strong>ebuild gnome-shell-3.36.4-r1.ebuild configure<\/strong><\/code><\/p>\n<p>The r1 version is current as of today, the next version may fix this issue.\u00a0 Insert the changes into <strong><em>workspacesView.js<\/em><\/strong>.
